Lake County Grand Jury issues call to young artists

The Lake County Grand Jury invites Lake County young people aged six to 18 to submit their original artwork for inclusion in the Grand Jury report for 2015-2016.
The Grand Jury publishes a written report every summer. The Grand Jury report is distributed to all departments in the county government and to the State archivist.
The artwork should express one or more of the following themes:
• The natural beauty of Lake County
• Unique Lake County culture
• Rebirth and Renewal.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING WORK
Submission deadline is Feb. 28. A photo of original art or a good copy should be packaged safely so it does not bend. Label the package “Grand Jury Artwork.” Please do not submit original artwork as it will not be able to be returned. If your artwork is chosen, the Grand Jury will contact you for further information.
Send via the US Postal Service to Lake County Grand Jury, PO Box 1078, Kelseyville, CA 95451. You may also send a .jpg or .PDF digital file of the artwork ot the Grand Jury email at grand.jury@lakecountyca.gov. Please indicate “Grand Jury Artwork” in the email header.
All entries, whether hard copy or digital, must include artist’s name, age, address, email address and phone number.
