[Marin County] 2016-17 Grand jury uses video podcasts to broadcast grand jury reports

Jay Hamilton-Roth, foreperson of the 2016-17 Marin County Grand Jury, writes:
For many of our reports, we have also been releasing short "video podcasts". Basically the summary of the report is read while a slideshow highlighting the content is shown. The goal was two-fold: 1) to increase awareness of our reports (how many people in the public have the time/interest to read a 60-page report but could spare 2-min to watch a video) and 2) to increase awareness of the grand jury itself (video is well-received by the public and easily shared with social media).
While we have more reports coming out this month, our first 4 reports each has a podcast associated with them:
We at CGJA link you to these videos on our blog because the Marin County Grand Jury is publishing at least some reports through social, as well as traditional media. We welcome your comments.
