[Statewide] Shasta County Resident Receives Prestigious Award from California Grand Jurors’ Association

South Lake Tahoe, Calif., October 1, 2018. Ray Frisbie, Whitmore, has received the Angelo Rolando Service Award from the California Grand Jurors’ Association (CGJA). This award, made for outstanding long-time service to the association at the state and local levels, was announced at the association’s 37th annual conference in South Lake Tahoe.
Frisbie served two terms on the Shasta County Grand Jury. He is a past president of the Shasta County Chapter of the CGJA and is active in their public outreach and juror recruitment efforts. At the state level, he has long been a leader on the CGJA team that trains more than one thousand grand jurors every year.
The California Grand Jurors’ Association is a statewide nonprofit organization of former grand jurors with the mission “to promote, preserve and support the grand jury system through training, education and outreach.” Joann Landi of the CGJA Awards Committee presented the award to Frisbie.
