The Napa County Grand Jurors’ Association (NCGJA) will host a speakers’ forum discussing “Napa Wildfires – One Year Later – What’s Changed?” on Oct. 9.
Speakers will discuss the hard lessons learned and what’s changed in the ways that Napa County and its organizations now plan to prevent and respond to county-wide fire emergencies. Speakers include the principal Napa County leaders of fire, police and citizen fire prevention agencies. Presentations will total one hour and close with a 15-minute question-and-answer period. The moderator will be the local NCGJA Chapter president, Charles Koch.
The event will be 7-8:15 p.m. at the Napa Main Library Community Room, 580 Coombs St,, Napa.
The Napa County Grand Jurors’ Association (napachapter-cgja.org) is the local chapter of the state-wide association that assists and promotes the Napa County Grand Jury each year to be more effective in their oversight of local government.
The NCGJA Speakers Forum’s goal is to educate county residents on how local government agencies help improve everyone’s quality of life, because grand jurors believe better-informed citizens influence better government services.
