San Luis Obispo: Three Separate Grand Jury Findings Released

The San Luis Obispo County Grand Jury has released three reports on three items it has been looking into.

The recommendations are that two-cycle leaf blowers be banned from the county because they are too noisy, create hazardous exhaust emissions and create fugitive dust drifts.

In another case, the grand jury thinks that city treasurers and clerks in Arroyo Grande, Atascadero and Paso Robles should consider a renewed effort to convince voters there the make those positions ones that are appointive rather than elective.

In another report, the grand jury praises how the county disciplines its employees.
