The
2020-2021 Grand Jury Final Report has been published and it is a worthy read!
The
report covers the subjects Special Districts, Housing the Homeless, Lincoln
Regional Airport, Public Libraries, Placer County Voting, the reviews for the
detention, jails and holding facilities, and analysis of responses to the prior
Grand Jury Reports for 2019 to 2020.
Included
in this final report is the early release of the “Preparedness of Placer County
for the November 2020 General Election,” and the responses to that report by
Ryan Ronco, Placer County Clerk-Recorder-Registrar of Voters. The insight into
Placer County voting by Ronco is timely and educational.
We
commend the Grand Jurors for their dedication and efforts for an excellent
final report.
