STOCKTON – The San Joaquin County morgue “threatens the health and safety of employees and the community,” according to a grand jury report released today.
The report also said, “The grand jury finds the condition of this morgue to be deplorable” and “urges the county to immediately replace or relocate the existing morgue.”
The findings were part of several reports released by the 2010-11 grand jury, which ends its year of service today.
