An annual Grand Jury review of Ventura County’s detention facilities shows that while none of them received excellent ratings, everything received satisfactory marks. No major problems were identified.
The review and report commends the County for its efforts to expanded medical and mental health facilities. It also note that the Ventura Youth Correctional Facility received accreditation for its high school.
